WHAT OUR PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY

   THE FAMILY SAYS

"Its been over 12 years since I became a part of the ITC family and they have been really happy years of travelling to new places, setting up homes, making new friends and growing as a person in vastly different environments. One thing remained constant though – I always found smiling faces around me and the ITC family was there to provide support in every sphere. I never felt alone even when my husband travelled because my ITC family was always just a phone call away."

Pallavi Dar,
wife of Harsh Dar,
Managing Director, Surya Nepal Private Limited

"The years since joining the 'ITC family' as a bride in 1984 seem to have just flown by. A housewife by choice, I've never once felt bored. Be it Kolkata, Bengaluru, Munger or Saharanpur, I've always found numerous activities within the ITC setup with which to keep myself busy.

Though the term 'ITC family' may sound cliched, the truth is that this `family', actually exists and has always provided us with a tremendous sense of security.

Whether it is basic needs like housing or medical help, or emotional needs like moral support, we couldn't have wished for anything better."

Nalini Rangrass,
wife of Sanjiv Rangrass,
General Manager, Operations, Tobacco Division

"Thanks to having become a member of the ITC family, I have developed the habit of having 'mixed feelings' about many things. What are the mixed feelings that I have about having an ITCian as my husband?

I am happy that my husband works with a lot of people in ITC who are caring and very friendly. I am also happy that I get to live in different places, some of which are very difficult to find even on a map. These postings have helped me discover some of my hidden talents. It has also taught me to survive!

I am not so happy about my husband considering work at ITC to be his first priority and everything else taking a backseat.. Of course, this has given me a lot of space and time to do things on my own and not depend on him. I would be much happier if we could do more things together but alas! this is not to be as ITC is his first love."

Ramya Sridhar,
wife of R Sridhar,
General Manager, Human Resources, Tobacco Division

"I still remember with fondness the day I became a part of the ITC family by virtue of my marriage to Atul. The warm welcome I got overwhelmed me and created a strong bond of love and affection.

What followed that day and which is true till date is the essence of togetherness, which I have always treasured. As I share my experiences, it is difficult to select one, as all my moments in the ITC family have been immensely satisfying and fulfilling.

I was also able to contribute in a meaningful way through ITC Ladies Social & Welfare Society, working for a social cause with a genuine aim and purpose.

ITC has been a constant source of support, always overseeing the well being of all its family members ...... and when I say this I know that I'm echoing the sentiments of all its members."

Anupama Chand
wife of Atul Chand,
Divisional Chief Executive,
Lifestyle Retailing Business Division

I joined the ITC family around 10 years ago and our sojourn since then has been a very pleasant one. It has been a family in the true sense of the word; rallying behind us through our ups and downs. We have always been motivated and encouraged in all our endeavours. ITC is a company that cares. I feel a positive sense of pride and if I were to sum up our experience with ITC in three words, they would be Security, Comfort and Belonging.

Gita Balakrishnan
wife of S Balakrishnan,
Divisional Manager, New Business Development,
