"I feel good about the wide variety of jobs I was able to handle in ITC across functions and across businesses. The great thing is the organisational freedom to experiment despite the odds and the risk of failure."

"ITC gives you the freedom to work in a professional environment. The classic loose-tight approach is practised here. The emphasis on Sustainability makes one feel that you are working on a superordinate goal of leaving the planet in a better shape than what it is, even as you conduct your business operations. This gives you tremendous satisfaction. With the emphasis on value addition and the opportunities for growth and development, there is more than a good chance for a new entrant to hit the top rungs of the organisation."

"What makes ITC a great place to work in? It gives you the freedom to express yourself. It gives you space and autonomy and encourages you to take as much responsibility as you are willing to. If you can take more, you get more. You are encouraged to take the ball and run. Mistakes are recognized as learning experiences…for some time. So you better learn fast."

"It is a Company that believes in fairness above all – most importantly in providing challenging opportunities. There is no better place to make true the saying that “every job is what you make of it”. The freedom to exploit the available opportunities and turn them into engaging assignments is what I have enjoyed the most at ITC. If you have the drive to do it, this is certainly the place where you can build your own ladder."

"My journey in ITC has been a very exciting one. I have had the opportunity of developing new and dynamic products right from the conceptualization to managing the brand post launch. Stints in sales and brand management have provided me cross functional learnings and interactions, which have built a strong foundation right from the start of my career. The responsibilities coupled with the opportunities have been an enabler in self development, making it an enjoyable and continuous learning experience."

"ITC doesn’t provide a ready-made career; it
doesn’t provide the clichéd ‘platform’ either.
However, ITC does provide a spring board to every
incumbent – “The harder you push, the higher you
go”. A career at ITC is an outcome of one’s
ability to learn the nuances of the synergies that
exists between various streams of businesses,
collaborate with diverse stakeholders, take active
lead in driving various business initiatives and
deliver sustainable competitive advantage for
one’s line of business. In the process, creating
enablers to transform today’s Managers into
tomorrow’s Business Leaders."

"A steep learning curve, a wide variety of engaging
and challenging assignments,an environment of
freedom and trust, a workplace in which your
colleagues are like your extended family-- that is
what ITC has been for me. ITC offers an immense
amount of opportunities-- I joined the company
nearly 7 years ago, on Marketing Services, moved
on to brands and now handle new categories in the
Foods Business. Each day at work is an enriching
experience, and at the risk of sounding cliched, I
consider myself fortunate to be part of a work
environment such as this."

"It’s sheer pride to be a part of an institution
which has a unique history of 100 years and has
built so many successful brands. ITC is a company
with tremendous opportunities for go-getters. In a
span of 5 years, I have been trained and nurtured
to grow from an entry-level Area Executive to Area
Manager , with exposure in all FMCG businesses
ranging from Cigarettes to Foods to Stationery.
The best part of ITC is that it gives due
recognition to performers, irrespective of their
alumni status."

“Enriching learning curve & great people to work
with” is what ITC has offered me. It has been a
wonderful experience working in ITC. My AUT
experience stands in good stead in enabling me to
put structure to my thought process; challenging
the status quo at all times. At ITC I have been
mentored to talk business; understand all facets
of the business, not just grow in silos. What came
as a pleasant surprise was the importance given of
my projects and the responsibility given to me; at
ITC I am sure that my work is making a difference
to the business.
I thoroughly enjoy the empowerment given to me in
my role, and the process continuously nurtures me,
and enables me to learn by doing. Responsibilities
like directly involving in Long Term
Settlements, growing as a business partner for the
factory team and executing plethora of initiatives
that directly impact the vitality of the
organisation have incredibly increased my
bandwidth of my business acumen.
When the organisation itself is in the process of
re-inventing itself, as a member I am also
continuously encouraged to work out of my comfort
zone and increase area of influence. This, coupled
with a culture of trust and openness, makes ITC an
amazing place to work in.

ITC also contributes in earning foreign currency and plays an important role in the country's development. My organisation believes in discipline and team work.
