The ITC Windsor provided the perfect setting.

It was a perfect way to unwind at the end of a long week. Saturday night saw the city's glitterati gather at The ITC Windsor for another WelcomTheatre offering - this one being a hilarious comedy by Aamir Raza Husain and Virat Husain.

Before the play, there were cocktails and single malts for the invitees, among who were Omer bin Jung and wife Anjum, Yasmin Premji, Leena Singh in a brown silk dress, Nandini Alva, Abhay Kewadkar, Chippy Gangjee, Harish Bijoor, Shreen and Ravi Malani, Meeru Pai and Rekha Hande.

Then, ITC Windsor GM Anand Rao welcomed everyone to the evening's entertainment , cell phones were switched off - yes, not one rang - and the play began.

There were laughs aplenty. We know Lily Hirani, for one, enjoyed every bit of it as did hubby Inder. "It was such a good stressbuster , I laughed through the evening," said Paresh Lamba.

Rubi Chakravarti loved the way the play was presented and indeed the whole evening. "The ITC Windsor provided the perfect setting," she said.

After the play, it was time for some fine foods from the kitchens of ITC Windsor. "Couldn't have been a more stylish coming together of the good things of life," said one guest.

And they can look forward to more champagne evenings in the weeks to come.
