ITC Hotels has recorded an increase in net profit to Rs 6.9 crore for the first quarter ended June 2004 as against Rs 0.59 crore recorded in the corresponding period last year.

The company’s total income has gone up by 37 per cent in Q1 to Rs 42.6 crore as against Rs 31.1 crore in the same quarter last year.

ITC Hotels recorded a PBT of Rs 11.09 crore during the period up from Rs 0.90 crore in the previous year.

During Q1, the company’s interest burden was nil, as against Rs 0.33 crore same period last year.
