The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on 24/10/02 approved the
following: 1) Integration of Bhadrachalam Paperboards Division and Tribeni Tissues
Division of the company into a single Division to realise strategic and operational
synergies. The integrated Division christened ‘Paperboards & Specialty Papers
Division’ will be operational from 01/11/2002. 2) As part of the FMCG portfolio,
setting up a Strategic Business Unit for Sourcing ‘Matches’ from the small scale
sector.
