Mr J.Narayan, former Deputy Chairman, passed away on 9th January, 2004, in Hyderabad.

Mr. J. Narayan (‘Nari’ as he was fondly called) joined the Company in 1960 and retired in 1991 as Deputy Chairman, after a successful career spanning 31 years. Post retirement he was associated with the Company as a Trustee of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy.

Mr. Narayan is survived by his wife, Suma and two daughters, Sandhya and Udaya.
