The ITC Board at its meeting held on the 17th
January, 2001 appointed Mr K 
Vaidyanath as an Executive Director on the Board. Mr
Vaidyanath will hold responsibility for the Finance function. Until his elevation to the
Board, he was the Company's Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Vaidyanath has been with ITC for the
past 25 years. He has held various positions in the Company's Finance Function including
that of Head of Finance of ITC's Packaging, Hotels and International Business. He has also
been Head of Corporate Planning & Treasury , as well as Internal Audit.
