ITC Infotech India Ltd has announced the setting up of a dedicated IT development centre
for one of its largest customer in the banking and finance sector, UK- based Abbey
National. An amount of $1 million has been invested in the development centre which would
house around 100 skilled IT staff managed by ITC Infotech.
ITC Infotech managing director Sanjay Verma
said, "The centre will provide software development, maintenance, testing and support
services for Abbey National". This centre would supplement to the software
development activities already being carried out in the other onsite locations including
Milton Keynes, Glasgow and Belfast, he added.
ITC Infotech subsidiary in UK has been
working closely with Abbey National for the past 18 months.
