Sameer Satpathy is the Divisional Chief Executive of the Personal Care Products Division at ITC.
With over 25 years of experience in the FMCG and Paint industries, he has worked across diverse categories such as haircare, skincare, personal wash, fragrances, disinfectants, foods, paints, and home care. Prior to joining ITC in 2015, he held key roles at Berger Paints and Marico.
Under his leadership, ITC has received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Cannes Lion Creative Effectiveness Grand Prix (2018), the International Advertising Association Gold (2021), and D&AD awards for the Savlon campaigns. Savlon got featured among the ten exclusive iconic works in the first ever "Lions creativity report of the Decade". He actively contributes to global industry forums, serving as a juror for the Cannes Lions Creative Effectiveness in 2022 and as part of the 16-member international Iridium Effie Jury that selected the Global Grand Effie Winners in 2021.
Sameer holds an MBA in Marketing from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hansraj College, University of Delhi. He has studied Consumer Marketing Strategy at Harvard Business School and attended the Global Program for Management Development at the Ross School, University of Michigan. He is a member of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) for Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur.
