The greetings cards business of ITC Ltd has launched 92 new SOS Children’s Villages of India greeting card designs for Diwali, Christmas and New Year.
A new series of ‘Thank You’ cards was also launched. The collection was created after identification of outstanding work done by renowned artists, designers and photographers.
Four designs of desktop calendars with themes likes World Heroes, Nature, Adventure and Dry Flowers were also part of the SOS Children’s Villages of India range for the festive season. J N Kaul, president of the SOS Children’s Villages of India, said support from ITC would help bring more children within the fold of SOS Children’s Villages.
Chand Das, chief executive of the ITC greeting cards, gifting and stationery business (ITC-GGSB), said the SOS Children’s Villages of India greeting cards and calendars offered both sender and receiver a chance to support a worthy cause.
The SOS cards were priced between Rs 6 and Rs 20 and the desktop calendars at Rs 50. They would be available in 12,000 retail outlets spread over 600 cities.
The ITC-GGSB leveraged the strengths of ITC in paper and paperboard, printing and packaging and distribution. It also sold the Expressions range of greeting cards comprising over 10,000 designs.
