S Ganesh Kumar took over as the Chief Operating Officer of ITC Agri Business in August 2023. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive of the Staples, Snacks, Meals businesses at ITC Foods.

A mechanical engineer, he joined ITC in 1991. In his tenure of over three decades, he has held leadership roles across multiple functions - manufacturing operations, projects, automation, and human resources.

From 2000 to 2002, Ganesh played a key role in ITC's diversification into Foods Business. He has played a lead role in the development of wheat, spice and potato value chains that support the Staples, Snacks and Noodles verticals anchored to the Aashirvaad, Kitchens of India, Bingo! and YiPPee! brands.

Ganesh is a member of the CII Committee on International Trade Policy and Exports and a former member of the CII National Committee for Food Processing.
