India Tobacco Division
Sandeep Kaul, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sandeep Kaul Sandeep Kaul took over as Divisional Chief Executive, India Tobacco Division on April 1, 2016. Prior to this he was the Chief Executive of the Personal Care Products SBU. A Mechanical Engineer from BIT, Ranchi and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Kaul joined ITC in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division in 1990. Between 1990 and 1999, Kaul handled a variety of assignments in both Sales as well as Brand Management. He has been Branch Manager at ITC's Delhi and Bengaluru branches. Between 1999 and 2001, he headed the Market Research group.

Kaul became associated with ITC's new FMCG initiatives in 2001. He thereafter focused on the development of the Personal Care business and took over as its Chief Executive in 2007.

Foods Division
Hemant Malik, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Hemant Malik Hemant Malik is Divisional Chief Executive, Foods Business since October 2016. Prior to this, he was heading Trade Marketing & Distribution for ITC FMCG.

He joined ITC in 1989 after completing his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. He has worked in the Tobacco, Lifestyle Retailing and Foods Businesses of the Company. In 1995, he was designated Manager - Wills World Cup, one of the largest sponsorship events in India. He took over Retail Operations in 2000 and worked towards setting up the first 25 Wills Lifestyle stores. Moving to head All India Tobacco Sales next year, he contributed to the development of the FMCG Sales Network. He became the Head of Marketing of the Foods business in 2002. During that period brands like Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Candyman, Kitchens of India, Mint-O and Bingo! were created and developed. In 2008, he became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Trade Marketing & Distribution. Taking over as the COO of Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain, India Tobacco Division in 2012, he was elevated to Divisional Chief Executive in 2015. He headed the Trade Marketing & Distribution for a short period before assuming his current role.

Sanjay Singal, Chief Operating Officer, Dairy & Beverages

image of Sanjay Singal Sanjay Singal joined ITC as Chief Operating Officer for the Dairy & Beverages cluster of ITC's Foods business on July 1, 2016. Prior to that, he was Head of Marketing for the Foods business of Dabur India Limited. In a career spanning over two decades, he has handled senior responsibilities across brand management for Personal Care and Foods businesses and also in Sales and Pricing.

He joined Hindustan Unilever Limited in 1995, after completing his MBA from IIM, Bangalore. He handled various responsibilities across Sales & Marketing for Unilever over 11 years in India and overseas. He was Senior Marketing Manager at Yum! Restaurant International, where he handled the 'Pizza Hut' brand for South Asia from 2005 to 2007.

Personal Care Products Strategic Business Unit
Sameer Satpathy, SBU Chief Executive

image of Sameer Satpathy Sameer Satpathy took over as Chief Executive of the Personal Care Products SBU on April 1, 2016. He joined ITC in December 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, Personal Care Products Business. Satpathy holds an MBA in Marketing from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

Satpathy started his career with Berger Paints in 1995. He joined Marico in 2002 and has more than two decades of experience in marketing, innovation, sales & operations, building brands and market leadership, across key categories such as haircare, skincare, foods, paints and fabric care. In Marico, he has held several leadership positions including that of Business Head - Marico India. Before joining ITC, he was leading the marketing function globally for Marico.

Satpathy has also studied Consumer Marketing Strategy at Harvard Business School and attended the Global Program for Management Development at University of Michigan.

Education & Stationery Products Strategic Business Unit
Shailendra Tyagi, SBU Chief Executive

image of Shailendra TyagiShailendra Tyagi took over as the Chief Executive of the Education and Stationery Business in October 2015. A Masters in Physics, Tyagi joined the Marketing Function of the Company's India Tobacco Division in 1982. Between 1982 and 2003, he handled a variety of assignments in Sales and Brand Management across the country. As Brand Group Manager he was responsible for managing leading brands like India Kings, Classic and Gold Flake. From 2003-2009, he headed the Marketing and Rural Retail functions of ITC's Agri Business and was instrumental in setting up the Choupal Saagar - ITC's Integrated Rural Services Hub. He returned to the India Tobacco Division in 2009 as Head of Modern Trade and later took over as Vice- President, Supply Chain and Logistics. Tyagi was instrumental in setting up and transforming the Supply Chain and Logistics for ITC's FMCG Businesses. From June 15, 2015 he assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer of ITC's Education and Stationery Business.

Lifestyle Retailing Business Division
Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Atul ChandAtul Chand is the Chief Executive of ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. He has been with this business since its early days and spearheaded several strategic initiatives to create strong lifestyle brands and actualize the business growth objectives.

Atul has popularised fashion by associating Wills Lifestyle with the prestigious India Fashion Week and by championing the country's largest ever Corporate - Designer tie-ups, to retail the co-creations in the stores nationally.

Before assuming charge as the Chief Executive in 2008, Atul was the Vice President - Marketing & Retail. In this role he anchored the creation of new Brands, established a nationwide Retail footprint, pioneered new concepts and redefined excellence in Customer Shopping experience.

An MBA from IMT Ghaziabad with an Economics Honours degree from Delhi University and schooling from St. Columbas Delhi, Atul joined ITC in 1988 in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division.

During his tenure in the division, he handled a wide range of responsibilities in Brand management, Sales and was given the charge of pioneering Trade Marketing in ITC in the mid 90s. He had various stints in different geographies, held national roles and was responsible for driving the FMCG business in North India. In 2001, Atul moved to ITC's new initiative in Lifestyle Retailing, to head the Marketing & Retail function.

Atul is a member of the CII National Committee on Retail and a Board member of Retail Association of India. He is associated with several industry forums and actively participates at management institutes.

Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit
V M Rajasekharan, SBU Chief Executive

image of V M Rajasekharan V M Rajasekharan is the Chief Executive of the Matches & Agarbatti Strategic Business Unit. He joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1986. Before joining ITC, he worked with M. M. Rubber's BOPP division from 1980 to 1986 after graduating in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University.

He has held various responsibilities in operations, domestic sales, planning and technology development in the Packaging and Printing Division. He was on the management committee of that Division before taking over as the Chief Executive of the Agarbattis business at its inception. He additionally took over as the Chief Executive of the Safety Matches SBU in December 2010.

Trade Marketing & Distribution
B Sumant, Divisional Chief Executive

image of B Sumant B Sumant took over as President, FMCG Businesses - Cigarettes, Foods, Personal Care, Education & Stationery Products, Matches and Agarbattis on April 1, 2016. He also holds additional responsibility of Trade Marketing and Distribution as its Chief executive since October 2016. Sumant was the Divisional Chief Executive of the Tobacco Division before his elevation as President - FMCG Businesses.

An alumnus of NIT Durgapur, Sumant joined ITC in January 1986 and has handled a wide range of responsibilities across several businesses. He spent the first 19 years in Manufacturing operations of the Tobacco Division and has worked in four production units as well as at Head Office where he was General Manager, Operations.

In October 2004, he moved to the foods business and set up the Snack Food category under the brand name 'Bingo!'.

He led ITC Infotech India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, as its Managing Director from April 2009 to October 2014. He has also been on the Boards of ITC Infotech's wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK and the USA.

Sumant is a member of the CII National FMCG Committee. He is a member of CII Eastern Regional Council for 2016-17 and the Chairman of CII Eastern Region Agriculture & Food Processing Taskforce. He is also a Director on the Board of Tobacco Institute of India and Surya Nepal Pvt. Limited.

Sandeep Sule, Chief Operating Officer

image of Sandeep Sule Sandeep Sule is Chief Operating Officer (COO), Trade Marketing & Distribution of ITC FMCG. In a career spanning over 25 years with ITC, he has handled various responsibilities in both sales and marketing functions, including that of District Manager, North and West. Before his elevation as COO, he was Executive Vice President - Sales Operations and Development, TM&D.

Hotels Division
Dipak Haksar, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Dipak Haksar Dipak Haksar is Chief Executive, ITC Hotels & WelcomHotels. With a GMP from Cornell University, Haksar began his career at ITC Maurya, New Delhi in 1978. During his long tenure in ITC, he has held numerous positions managing both leisure and business properties. From ITC Maurya he moved to ITC Windsor, Bengaluru, a hotel he nurtured as Resident Manager before moving to ITC Rajputana, Jaipur as Manager. This was followed by a stint at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur as General Manager.

In 2001, Haksar was entrusted with the launch of ITC Maratha in Mumbai, which won the 'Best Luxury Business Hotel' award in its first year of operation. It also earned Haksar the Hotel & Food Service (H&FS) National Award for Best General Manager. He later moved to New Delhi as Vice President, Operations, for luxury hotels and General Manager, ITC Maurya. In 2008, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of ITC Hotels and WelcomHotels.

Haksar is the Chairman of the Assocham National Council for Tourism & Hospitality.

Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division
S K Singh, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sanjay Singh Sanjay Singh is Divisional Chief Executive, ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division. Prior to this he was the Chief Operating Officer of the business. A chemical engineer from IIT Kanpur, Singh joined the erstwhile ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as a management trainee in 1977 and rose to become a whole time director in 1999. Consequent to the merger of ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited with ITC Limited in March 2002, he took charge of the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division as Executive Vice President (Manufacturing) with responsibility for Bhadrachalam, Tribeni, Kovai and Bollaram units. He has played a vital role in the implementation of TPM and Lean manufacturing in all the units.

Packaging & Printing Strategic Business Unit
R Senguttuvan, SBU Chief Executive

image of R Senguttuvan R Senguttuvan is the Chief Executive of the Packaging and Printing Business. A Mechanical Engineer with a PGDM from IIM Bangalore, he joined ITC in 1991 as Assistant Materials Manager. He became Works Manager of the Tiruvottiyur factory and then Vice President of the Packaging & Printing Business before taking charge as Chief Executive. Senguttuvan is also a member of the Governing Council of the All India Management Association.

 

Agri Business Division - ILTD
Sanjiv Rangrass, Divisional Chief Executive

image of Sanjiv Rangrasss Sanjiv Rangrass took over as Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division - ILTD in July 2010. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the business since September 2009. Sanjiv joined the Company in 1982 after completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He spent 27 years in the India Tobacco Division in various capacities in the Technical function across manufacturing units and Head Office. He also had a cross functional stint as General Manager, HR, in the Tobacco Division from 2001 to 2003. Prior to moving to Agri Business Division - ILTD , he was Member, Technical, of the Executive Committee of Cigarette Brands and Supply Chain of the Tobacco Division. He has also been on the Board of Governors of IIM Shillong.

Agri Business Division
S Sivakumar, Divisional Chief Executive

S Sivakumar is the Divisional Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division. He is also the Chairman of Technico Agri Sciences Limited, and Vice Chairman of ITC Infotech India Limited and its subsidiaries in the UK and USA.

The e-Choupal initiative was developed and executed under Sivakumar's leadership of the Agri Business Division. Topper of the Class of 1983 from the Institute of Rural Management Anand, (IRMA), Sivakumar worked with a farmers' cooperative for six years before joining ITC in 1989.

Sivakumar is the Chairman of the National Agricultural Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Vice Chairman of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Social Innovation, and a member on the Board of Governors of Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA).

Sivakumar served on the Boards of India's National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), and Indo US Knowledge Initiative on Agriculture, the Private Sector Committee of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and UN Global Compact's Core Advisory Group to develop Sustainable Agriculture Business Principles, among other organisations.

Rajnikant Rai, Chief Operating Officer

image of Rajnikant Rai Rajnikant Rai is Chief Operating Officer, Agri Business Division. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President, Operations. He was also the national head of the path breaking e-Choupal project. Rai is a graduate in Economics and holds a PG Diploma in International Business Management. He worked in a Government organization in Madhya Pradesh and then with Britannia before joining ITC in 1990. He is Executive Committee Member on several industry bodies and commodity exchanges.
