Kurush N Grant

Chief Executive

Kurush N Grant is the Chief Executive of the Tobacco Division and a Permanent Invitee to the Corporate Management Committee. After completing his MBA in 1979, he worked with DCM as a Management Trainee, from where he joined ITC in 1980 in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division. During his tenure in the Division, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities in Sales, Brand Management and Product Development cutting across several product categories. He was Executive Vice President, Marketing of the Tobacco Division before assuming charge as the Divisional Chief Executive in 1999.

He has been involved in the incubation and development of all of ITC's new initiatives in the consumer and FMCG sectors. He is a Director on the Board of King Maker Marketing Inc., USA, and an Alternate Director on the Board of Surya Nepal Private Limited. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and is the Vice Chairman of the Indian Society of Advertisers. He has been a past Chairman of the National Readership Studies Council as well as the Audit Bureau of Circulations, India.

T V Ramaswamy

Executive Vice President, Technical & Human Resources.

T V Ramaswamy is the Executive Vice President of Technical and Human Resources of the Tobacco Division. After completing his graduation in Engineering from the then Madras University and post graduation in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Ramaswamy joined ITC as a Management Pupil in 1974 in the Technical Function.

During his tenure in the Company, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities in Operations across India and has also managed the Division's R&D from 1992 to 1996. Thereafter, he was the Managing Director of Surya Tobacco Co. Pvt Ltd (now known as Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd) till 2001.

He is involved in the pursuit of operational excellence, induction of Technology and the management of R&D in the Division. He is also involved in harnessing the potential of human resources to meet the growth plans of the Division. He is in charge of the Central Projects Organisation which executes construction projects for all ITC divisions, except Hotels and Paperboards.

He is a Director on the Board of Asia Tobacco Co Ltd and is the Chairman of ITC Filtrona Ltd. He is also a Trustee of ITC's Superannuation Funds.

Hemant Malik

Head, Trade Marketing and Distribution, FMCG

Hemant Malik is the Head of Trade Marketing and Distribution for ITC FMCG. He joined ITC in 1989 after completing his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. He has worked in the Tobacco, Lifestyle Retailing and Foods Divisions of the Company. In 1996, he was designated Manager - Wills World Cup, the largest sponsorship event ever in India. The same year, he was seconded to BAT, London, as the International Brand Manager. He returned in 1998. In 2000, he took over Retail Operations and worked towards the setting up of the first 25 Wills Lifestyle stores. In 2001, he moved to head All India Tobacco Sales contributing to the development of the FMCG Sales Network. In April 2002, he became the Head of Marketing of ITC Foods and has been responsible for the development of brands like Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Candyman, Kitchens of India, Mint-O and Bingo. He moved back to Kolkata in May 2008 to head the Trade Marketing & Distribution for ITC FMCG products.

       
         
   
Rajiv Tandon

Executive Vice President, Finance & MIS

Rajiv Tandon is Executive Vice President, Finance & MIS of the Tobacco Division. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has held various positions in ITC’s finance functions spanning different businesses. He was previously the Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance with responsibility for treasury, business performance review and strategic planning before assuming the current responsibility. He has also served as Finance Advisor assisting the Management Committee of ITC on restructuring ITC’s portfolio from 1997
                                         to 2000.

He is a director on the Board of several subsidiaries/group companies of ITC. He is also a member of the Taxation and Company Law Committee of Confederation of India Industry.

   
       
         
   
Ravi S Naware

Chief Executive

Ravi S Naware is the Chief Executive, ITC Foods Division. He graduated as a Chemical Engineer from IIT Mumbai and completed his Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University. He joined ITC in the technical function of the Tobacco Division in 1974. During his tenure with the Tobacco Division, he handed various responsibilities in the areas of Factory Management, Operations Management, Quality Management and Information Technology (MRP II) Systems. He was Executive Vice President (Technical) before establishing and assuming charge as Divisional
                                        Chief Executive of the new Foods Division in 2002.

   
       
         
   
C Dar

Chief Operating Officer

C Dar joined the Foods Business in August 2008. He started his career in ITC's Packaging and Printing business in 1981. Dar is an engineer from IIT, Delhi and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. In 1998, he was seconded to the then ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as head of Marketing and was elevated to the Board of ITC-BPL in 1999. He also took over responsibilities of the Materials function in 2001. In 2003, he joined the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division as its CEO and continued in that role till he moved to the Foods business as Chief Operating Officer.

   
       
         
   
Murali Ganesan

Vice President, Finance & Information Technology

Murali Ganesan, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, is Vice President, Finance & Information Technology, of ITC's Foods Business.

After passing his CA, he joined ITC in 1986. Ganesan spent his initial years in Internal Audit where he was responsible for Systems Audit of the Company's various businesses.

In 1988, he moved to the Packaging & Printing business. His responsibilities included Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Indirect Taxes and Export & Treasury operations. In 2002, he moved to the Leaf Tobacco Division as Vice President, Finance & MIS, where he spent five years before moving to the Foods Business.

   
       
         
   
Kavinder Singh

Category Head, Biscuits, Foods Division

Kavinder Singh is Category Head, Biscuits, of ITC’s Foods Division. He is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Warangal. He joined ITC's Tobacco Division in 1992 and handled various assignments in the technical function. He was Branch Manager, Saharanpur Cigarette factory, before being assigned the responsibility of the Biscuits segment in 2001.

   
       
   
 
M S Gadhok

Category Head, Ready-to-Eat

A mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi, M S Gadhok joined ITC in 1980 in the Packaging and Printing Division. His career in ITC has spanned Operations, Procurement and Strategic Planning. He took over as the Head of the Ready-to-Eat category of ITC Foods in 2000. Gadhok has been associated with the evolution of the Kitchens of India brand and the build up of the product range within the category. He continues to maintain a keen interest in academics and completed his MBA from OUBS, UK in 2003.

   
       
 
   
Atul Chand

Chief Executive

Atul Chand took over as the Chief Executive of the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division in August 2008. He has been with the business since its early days and spearheaded several strategic initiatives to actualize the growth plans and business objectives.

Before assuming charge as the Chief Executive, Chand was the Head of Marketing & Retail, responsible for Brands, Retail Operations, Logistics and Retail Development. He has anchored the creation of strong lifestyle brands like Wills Lifestyle and John Players, and strengthened the equity by associating with the country’s largest fashion event, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. He established a nationwide Retail footprint focusing on excellence in Retail Operations and Consumer Shopping experience.

An MBA with an Economics Honours degree, Atul joined ITC in 1988 in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division. During his tenure in the division he has handled a wide range of responsibilities in Brand Management, FMCG Sales and was a key participant in championing Trade Marketing in the company in the mid 90s. He has had various stints across the country and was involved in driving the FMCG business before moving in 2001 to ITC’s new initiative in Lifestyle Retailing as Head of Marketing.

   
       
         
   
Samindra Roy

Vice President, Marketing & Retail

Samindra Roy took over as Vice President, Marketing & Retail of ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Business Division in July 2008. Prior to this, he was Vice President, Marketing of ITC's subsidiary, Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, handling sales and marketing of cigarettes as well as readymade apparels. He was also a permanent invitee to the Board of that Company. A graduate in Economics from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and MBA from FMS Delhi, Samindra has been with ITC since 1996. He has held various positions in Brand Marketing and has also been District Manager, East,                                         driving ITC's FMCG businesses in the region.

   
       
         
   
Prabir Sengupta

Vice President Finance & IT

Prabir Sengupta is Vice President Finance & IT for the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience, primarily with ITC, across several businesses - Hotels & Hospitality, Packaging & Printing, Greeting Cards & Stationery and Lifestyle Retailing, apart from Corporate Planning and Finance at Corporate Headquarters.

Most recently he has spearheaded the building of world class IT Systems in LRBD. Prior to moving to LRBD, he was Head of Finance in the Printing & Packaging Division and was closely associated with the setting up of the Greeting Cards and Stationery SBU. During his stint in PPD, he also anchored a company-wide strategic cost management initiative, as an additional responsibility. Earlier, at the Hotels business, he handled several assignments including Unit Finance, Development and Projects at HDHQ and was the Divisional team leader for a major financial restructuring of the business. Between his stints at Hotels and PPD, he was Plans Analyst at Corporate Headquarters, focusing on the paper, board and packaging businesses of ITC.

   
       
         
   
Kamal R Bose

Vice President, Buying & Merchandising

Kamal R Bose is Vice President (Buying & Merchandising) of the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division.

He spearheads the Merchandise Planning, Product Development, Buying, Sourcing, Production, Technical and Quality functions.

He has been instrumental in setting up the entire Value Chain of Fibre to Fashion straddling Design, Development & Delivery through an innovative Supply Chain Process modelled around the Lean Manufacturing System & Collaborative Vendor Partnerships.

A Post Graduate in Marketing from Delhi University, he joined the erstwhile Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited, a subsidiary of ITC in 1982.

After successfully handling responsibilities in Product Development & Sales Management for 13 years, he moved to the Agri Business Division of ITC to head their Buying House Operations as General Manager (Agencies).

After a 3 year stint, he was inducted as a Project Manager to formulate the Business Plan for ITC’s foray into Lifestyle Retailing.

   
       
         
   
Mukul Rastogi

Vice President, Human Resource

Mukul Rastogi is the Vice President of Human Resources of the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. Mukul joined ITC in 1989 after completing her Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She began as a Management Trainee in the Packaging and Printing Division and then moved to the Tobacco Division. During her tenure in the Tobacco Division, she handled a wide range of responsibilities in Industrial Relations, Recruitment and Human Resource Management at the Unit level as well as at Divisional Headquarters. She moved to the Lifestyle Retailing business at its inception in 1999 to head Human Resources.

Mukul has been a member of the CII National Committee on Empowerment of Women at the Workplace for the years 2005-06 and 2006-07. She is a member of the CII National Committee on Education for the year 2008-09.

   
       
         
   
Rinku Kaicker

Head Designer

Rinku Kaicker is the Head Designer of the Lifestyle Retailing Business Division. After receiving her degree in Fashion Design in 1989, she worked as a Management Trainee with "Yaatri", a Government recognized Export House, from where she joined Global Agencies, an apparel buying house. In 1993, she joined the Vikram Aditya group as Deputy General Manager, Design & Merchandizing. During her 6-year stint with the company, she was in charge of Design and Product Development for all International Buyer Accounts.

She joined LRBD as Head Designer in the year 1999. Having been associated with the Division since its inception, she has been involved in development and implementation of key initiatives, which include setting up of a creative design hub, specialized people skill development and expanding and strengthening the "Wills" and "John Players" brand portfolio.

   
       
         
   
Anil Garg

Invitee

Anil Garg holds charge of the Finance, Procurement, Logistics and IT functions in the Personal Care Products SBU. He has an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University, USA and joined the Company in 1985. The first eight years of his career involved various assignments in operations and projects in the Hotels Division and he was the financial controller of the Windsor Manor expansion project before moving to Corporate Internal Audit in 1993.

Garg has been involved in capex/ investment appraisals, corporate planning, and industry trend analysis during his stint at Corporate Finance. He has held an assignment as Head of Finance of Landbase India Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, before moving to a role in Strategic Planning as part of the team engaged in mergers, acquisitions and business structuring activities. Garg has been with the Personal Care Products Business since July 2007.

   
       
         
   
V Krishnan

Chief Scientist

Dr Venkat Krishnan is the Chief Scientist for ITC's Personal Care Strategic Business Unit. He joined ITC in 2005 with 20 years experience in academic research and industrial R&D. He received his PhD in the USA in 1985 and has been engaged in leading-edge chemical physics research at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and University of Zurich, Switzerland. He has also served as a faculty at McGill University, Montreal in Canada. He has over 15 patents and 50 research publications in peer reviewed high impact scientific journals such as the Journal of American Chemical Society, Journal of Physical Chemistry, Journal of Chemical Physics etc. He has championed many initiatives from concept to products in the Personal Care domain. He believes in the R&D continuum of relevant science and product development culminate in world-class products for the consumer. He is member of several national and international scientific committees and professional bodies.

   
       
         
   
G K Suresh

Marketing Manager

G K Suresh has been Marketing Manager for the Personal Care Products SBU since June 2007. An Electrical & Electronics graduate from BITS, Pilani and an MBA from FMS, Delhi, G K Suresh joined ITC in 1995. He has handled multiple assignments in Trade Marketing & Distribution in different regions, apart from Brand Marketing roles on various Cigarette brands. He was part of the team that organised the Wills International Cup (first ICC knockout Cup) in Dhaka in 1999.

G K Suresh became Trade Marketing & Development Manager in 2002. He helped develop processes and systems for the FMCG supply chain & distribution network. In 2004, he took over the responsibility of driving ITC's FMCG businesses in the Southern Region before moving to his current assignment.

Chief Executive

C S Das is the Chief Executive of the Education & Stationery Products SBU. He joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1980 after a short stint with Larsen & Toubro. Das is an engineer from IIT, Kanpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru. In his 20-year association with ITC, he has held various positions in Marketing and Business Development.

   
       
         
   
Neel K Jasper

Head - Finance, Logistics and IT

Neel Kingston Jasper, a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant, heads the Finance, Logistics and Information Technology functions for the Education & Stationery Products. He joined the Company’s Finance Function in 1993 and had a three-year stint in Internal Audit. He then moved to the Packaging & Printing Business where his responsibilities included management accounting, setting-up of an EOU, Indirect Taxes, ForEx Management, logistics operations for both domestic and exports sectors.

At present, he manages the business requirements for Finance and Distribution in Education & Stationery/ Gifting Channel by providing logistics and information support. On the supply-chain side, he manages the financial controllership and logistics.

   
       
         
   
R Gopal

Chief Executive

R Gopal is the Chief Executive of the Matches SBU. He joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1982 after graduating in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute Of Technology and Sciences, Pilani. He has spent his entire career, spanning 21 years, with ITC, holding varied responsibilities in Manufacturing, Engineering, Domestic sales, International sales and TQM in the Packaging and Printing Division. He was on the management committee of the packaging and printing business heading the Interdivisional sales, Export marketing and TQM before taking over as the Chief Executive of the Matches business at its inception.

   
       
         
   
V M Rajasekharan

Chief Executive

V M Rajasekharan is the Chief Executive of the Agarbattis SBU. He joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1986. Before joining ITC, he worked in M.M.Rubber company's BOPP division from 1980 to 1986 after graduating in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University.

He has held various responsibilities in operations, domestic sales, planning and technology development in the Packaging and Printing Division. He was on the management committee of that Division before taking over as the Chief Executive of the Agarbattis business at its inception.

   
       
         
   
Vivek Abrol

Head of Marketing

Vivek Abrol is Head of Marketing for the Agarbattis SBU. After completing his MBA in 2001, he joined ITC's Lucknow Marketing Branch. Abrol then moved to the Nagpur Branch as Assistant Manager, Convenience Focus Products. In June 2003 he took over as Product Development Manager for Cigarettes, responsible for both product and packaging development.

In 2004, Vivek moved to Bhopal to take care of the Grocery Focus Product channel. Later, he handled the same responsibilities in Chennai. In May 2006 Abrol took over as the Marketing Manager for Agarbattis.

   
       
         
   
Nakul Anand

Chief Executive

Nakul Anand is the Chief Executive of the Hotels Division and a Permanent Invitee to the Corporate Management Committee. An Economics Honours graduate from Delhi University with an AMP degree from the Bond University, Australia, he joined ITC Hotels Management Training Programme in the summer of 1978. In a career that spans over three decades, he has been praised for his vision and commitment.

He is widely recognized for excellent man management and team building abilities besides infusing the spirit of action and result oriented work culture. He is a firm believer in value based strategies and has created a unique quality control model of Operational Excellence and also introduced Six Sigma quality standards. Nakul Anand has initiated some very innovative concepts in hoteliering making ITC's hotel business synonymous with the best in the world.

   
       
         
   
Pawan Kumar Verma

Executive Vice President, Operations

Pawan Kumar Verma is Executive Vice President, Operations, of the Hotels Division. After receiving his B.Sc degree followed by an MBA from FMS, New Delhi, he joined Oberoi Hotels as a Senior Management Trainee and worked with them for 15 years. He joined ITC's Hotels business more than 20 years ago and completed Operational assignments in Agra, Delhi, Chennai and Jaipur before moving to Corporate Headquarters in 1994. He has served as Executive Vice President, Projects & Product Development, for three years. During this period, he was involved in the development of ITC One at ITC Maurya, New Delhi, ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai and WelcomHotel, New Delhi and the opening of new hotels like ITC Grand Kakatiya, Hyderabad, ITC Sonar Bangla, Kolkata and ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, ensuring global standards in design and execution.

Currently overseeing the Operations of ITC prefixed Hotels, WelcomHotels, Fortune Hotels and WelcomHeritage Hotels, Verma is on the Board of Fortune Hotels Limited and has served as an Executive Committee member of FHRAI. He has attended various senior management programmes at Cornell University, USA, and completed an executive MBA from Bond University, Australia.
 

   
       
         
   
B Hariharan

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

B. Hariharan is Vice President Sales & Marketing of the Hotels Division. After graduating in 1983, Hariharan began his career with Food Specialties Ltd. in Sales & Distribution, where he worked for two years. Thereafter, he pursued an MBA and on completing the course, joined ITC-Welcomgroup as a Marketing Management Trainee in 1986. Over the years, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities encompassing Sales, Electronic Distribution, Product Development and Brand Management. Arun Pathak

Vice President, Finance

Arun Pathak is Vice President - Finance, IT and Procurement for the Hotels Division. He joined ITC in 1983. He has handled several responsibilities in the Cigarettes, Leaf Tobacco, Paperboards and Specialty Papers and Foods businesses before joining the Hotels Division. A gold medalist and merit list rank holder in Chartered Accountancy, Arun has worked in cigarette factories, Indirect Taxes, Technology upgrade task forces and cigarette exports during his career. He has headed the Finance and IT functions in erstwhile Tribeni Tissues and Foods before moving to a similar role in Hotels. Additionally, he has held the Procurement portfolio in Foods and Hotels. He was involved in the turnaround of the erstwhile Tribeni Tissues Division. He then moved to Foods with the start up team and participated in the fast growth of the business over 5 years. Presently, he is responsible for actualizing the growth objectives of the Hotels Division.

   
       
         
   
S C Sekhar

Senior Executive Vice President, Projects, Growth & Development

S C Sekhar, Senior Executive Vice President, Projects, Growth & Development, Hotels Division, joined ITC Limited as the Financial Controller of Mughal Sheraton, Agra in 1978. He is a Chartered Accountant. Over the years, he has handled a wide range of responsibilities - Financial Controller, Finance Manager - Projects, Executive Assistant to Chairman - Hotels Division, Divisional Controller and took over as Finance Head of the business in 1992. Subsequently, as Executive Vice President, his portfolio included Finance, Treasury, Audit, Legal and
                                         Information Technology.

As Executive Director on the Board of the erstwhile ITC Hotels Limited, he was responsible for Projects, Development & Investments. He is also a Director on the Board of International Travel House and Managing Director of Landbase India Ltd.

   
       
         
   
Ashoke Bhalla

Invitee

Ashoke Bhalla is Vice President, Learning, Hotels Division. After receiving his Hotel Management degree, Bhalla joined Oberoi Hotels as a Management Trainee. Thereafter he took up various operational appointments at Oberoi Hotels during his 6 years with that company.

Bhalla joined ITC's Hotels Division in 1976 as part of the opening team for ITC Mughal, Agra. Thereafter, he took up assignments at Aurangabad, Andamans, Delhi, Chennai, Jodhpur and Goa, among others. He moved to the Divisional Headquarters in 1989 and was asked to set up the Welcomgroup Management Institute (WMI), which has since become an industry leader in Hospitality Management Training. Bhalla obtained an Executive MBA qualification from the Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia.

In 1997, he took charge of all Training activities in the Division as Vice President. In 2001, he was shifted to Operations, Support & Quality, where he pioneered the setting up of the Six Sigma Initiative. In 2005, he was brought back to the Learning Function as Vice President, Learning & Six Sigma. Bhalla is currently engaged in overseeing Training and Learning Processes in the Division through Hotel Training, WelcomUniversity and e-Learning. He also oversees the WMI and the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration at Manipal.

   
       
         
   
P Dhobale

Chief Executive

P Dhobale is the Divisional Chief Executive of the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division. A Chemical Engineer from IIT, Mumbai, he joined the erstwhile ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Limited as a Management Trainee in 1977 and became its Managing Director in 1999. Dhobale is an active member of several industry bodies. He is the President of Indian Paper Manufacturers Association, immediate past Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Member, Southern Regional Council, CII and Chairman, Energy Efficiency Council of CII - Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, Hyderabad. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of the Association of Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute, Saharanpur and Member of the Development Council for Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries. He is a Member of the World Wide Fund for Nature - India. He is a Past President of the Indian Pulp and Paper Technical Association.

   
       
         
   
P Sanyal

Permanent Invitee

Pradip Sanyal is Vice President (Tribeni Operations) in the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division since 1998. A mechanical engineer with a post graduate diploma in Management from IIMC, he joined the erstwhile Tribeni Tissues Limited in 1976 in Marketing. Switching to the Production function in 1982, he moved to Tribeni Mill where he has successfully handled the responsibility of various functions, including HR, before taking over as Unit Head.

   
       
         
   
R Sethu Subramanian

Works Manager

R Sethu Subramanian, Works Manager, Packaging & Printing, joined ITC in July 2008. He has 25 years of experience in various industries in India and abroad. A Chemical Engineer from IIT Chennai with an Executive MBA from Henley Management College, UK, Sethu worked for 14 years in the paper, printing and converting industry in South Africa, before joining ITC. He has handled a variety of projects involving Paper Machine Deckle Optimisation, Business Development as well as SAP upgradation. In his stint abroad, he has been a representative at the South African Book Development Council (SABDC) and the Paper Manufacturers' Association of South Africa.

   
       
         
   
S Sivakumar

Chief Executive

S Sivakumar is the Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division. He has been with ITC since 1989 and has worked in the Company's erstwhile International Exports Business before moving to the Agri Business Division. Topper of the Class of 1983 from the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand, he served a farmers' cooperative in the oilseeds sector for six years before joining ITC. He is on the Boards of ITC Infotech India Ltd. and the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). He is also on the Management Committees of several industry

K T Prasad

Vice President, Human Resources Development

K T Prasad is Vice President – Human Resources Development, Agri Business Division. He completed his Masters in PM, IR & LW from Loyola College, Chennai. In 1981 he started his career with ITC as a Management Trainee in the Hotels Division and worked there for 14 years. He then moved to the Company's erstwhile edible oils Business. He worked there for four years before assuming HR responsibilities in the Agri Business Division in 1999. Presently, he heads the Human Resources function in Agri Business Division focusing on Talent, Performance and Knowledge Management and supports the various new initiatives of the division. C V Sarma

Vice President, Finance and IT

C V Sarma is Vice President, Finance and IT, of the Agri Business Division. He joined the Company's Finance Function in 1988. After a short stint in Internal Audit, he moved to the Commercial function at the Cigarette factories in Kidderpore and Munger. A gold medallist, Sarma is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost & Works Accountant and Company Secretary. He took a break in 1991 for a full-time post graduation from IIM, Ahmedabad. He rejoined the Company in 1993 to work in the Corporate Planning and Treasury departments.

Sarma played a key role in consolidating business plans of the Company, interacting with Fund Managers and in raising and managing funds. He was involved in the development of the payment gateway for electronic transfer of collections. He also centralized the Forex Treasury function. In 2002, he became the Head of Finance & IT of the Agri Business Division, handling responsibilities like financial accounting, export documentation, management accountancy, infrastructure management, development of IT systems including ERP, etc.

He is a Director on the Board of Megatop Insurance Services Ltd and leads the Company’s foray into the financial services business in rural areas through the e-Choupal channel.

   
       
         
   
Rajnikant Rai

Vice President, Operations, Agri Business Division

Rajnikant Rai is Executive Vice President, Operations, Agri Business Division. He heads the Oils, Grains and Pulses (OGP) Group and the Aqua Business of the division. He is also the national head of the pathbreaking e-Choupal project. Rai is a post-graduate in Economics and holds a Diploma in Import and Export Management. He worked in a Government organization in Madhya Pradesh and then with Britannia before joining ITC in 1990. He has been in the commodities business for more than 24 years. Shailendra Tyagi

Head of Rural Marketing & Retailing Businesses

Shailendra Tyagi is the Head of Rural Marketing and Retailing Businesses of the Agri Business Division. After completing his Masters in Physics in 1980, he ran his own business in apparel exports before joining ITC in 1982 in the Marketing function of the Tobacco Division. He completed a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management in 1986 while working with the Company. During his tenure in the Tobacco Division, he handled a wide range of responsibilities in Trade Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain management, ERP and Data Warehousing. He was Brand Group Manager (National Brands) in the Tobacco Division before assuming his current responsibility as VP-Marketing and Retail Businesses, Agri Business Division in 2003.

   
       
         
   
S Janardhan Reddy

Chief Executive

S Janardhan Reddy is the Chief Executive of the Agri Business Division - ILTD. After completing his graduation in Agriculture Sciences, he joined ILTD in the Marketing function in December 1972. He has handled a wide range of assignments in ILTD including Crop Development, Procurement, Processing and Exports. He was Vice President - Marketing and Head of Research & Development before assuming charge as the Divisional Chief Executive in October 2001. Vice President, Marketing and R & D

K C Biddappa is Vice-President, Marketing and R & D of the Agri Business Division - ILTD since October 2001. He joined the Company in 1978 in the Leaf Function at Mysore. He has been involved in various operations like crop development, procurement, processing and exports. Before taking charge as Vice President, he was Leaf Manager (South). S Ramakrishna

Head of Processing and Technology

S Ramakrishna is Head of Processing and Technology for the Agri Business Division - ILTD. He joined the Technical Function of the Division in 1980, when operations were being mechanised. He has been involved in all major projects of ILTD's Technical function, contributing to Project Planning & Management, Maintenance Management, Processing and Factory Management. As Factory Manager at Chirala, he has developed Systems in compliance with SA 8000, OHSAS 18000 and IQRS Level 7. His experience cover Green Leaf Threshing Plants, Material Handling and Storage Systems and Factory Management. Before taking over as Head - Processing and Technology in July 2006, he was Factory Manager at Chirala. Ramakrishna is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers.

 
   
       
         
   
DVR Rajiv Mohan

DVR Rajiv Mohan currently holds charge of the Exports function in Agri Business Division - ILTD. He is also Business Head for Spices. He joined the Company in 1988 and has been involved in various assignments relating to the supply chain and export of Leaf Tobacco.
