With the nation grappling with a crisis of mammoth proportions, ITC is privileged to be able to set up a 300-bed temporary medical facility at Budni, Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh. This is our humble contribution to the battle against the coronavirus.
ITC has also made contributions to the CM's & State Govt's multipronged efforts to fight the pandemic, providing the required infrastructure for the AC medical facility. The temporary hospital comprises three blocks, including a 50-bed paediatrics section, an OPD Block with a doctor's room, nurse room, lab and pharmacy, among others. Requisite infrastructure including RO plant, water storage tanks, air-conditioning system and other electrical accessories as well as safety & fire-fighting equipment have also been provided.
ITC also stood with those in need by distributing health and hygiene products, personal protective equipment, staples and cooked hot meals. The company issued detailed advisories to employees on how to safeguard themselves, their colleagues, associates, and families. COVID-19 care centres for employees and their families were created, and assistance given with hospitalisation and treatment.
