The Sunfeast World 10K Bangalore gave an opportunity to serious and amateur runners from Bangalore and around the country to experience the rarified atmosphere that pervades an international sporting event.
Bangloreans of all age groups- men, women and children, abled as well as disabled took to the tree lined streets of Bangalore and participated spiritedly for fun, health and above all a good cause. Since Sunfeast brand is all about spreading the smile and being the title sponsor of this event managed to convince many disbelievers and the uninitiated the benefits of running. Many number of corporates as well as NGO’s took part in the event and a sizeable amount of charity was raised for many causes.
All roads in Bangalore led only to one place and that was Kanteerva Stadium, participants as well as general public soaked in the carnival spirit of the event. The races which stood out are the senior’s citizen race, wherein seniors came in huge numbers and proved to all that age was just a number as no groups could match their enthusiasm.
