ITC In Tie-up With DTDC To Deliver Expressions Cards Free

ITC Ltd on Thursday announced that it has tied up with courier service provider, DTDC for free delivery of ITC’s "Expressions" brand of greetings cards to any destination in India.

According to a press statement issued by ITC, all a customer has to do, is buy an "Expressions" greetings card from any of the select outlets, address it and drop it into the assigned DTDC box kept at that outlet. "It would be couriered to any destination in India free of charge," as per the press release.

It is learnt that the scheme would operate from over 300 EVC outlet across 76 markets in India. "The scheme is designed to make reaching out to your loved ones easier," the press statement said.

It is also learnt that ITC has introduced a range of 395 designs of "Expressions Utsav" coins for Diwali this year. "These include 240 designs in English, 30 designs in Hindi, 82 designs in Gujrati and 43 designs in Marathi," the press statement said.

According to the ITC management, the collection captures the essence of the festival of lights, with representations of traditional icons. "A couple of unique additions to the range this year include cards that open out in the form of a small temple and cards with ‘diya’ designers in them," the press statement said. The ITC management has claimed that the designs of these cards are based on various consumer needs. According to the chief executive officer of ITC Greetings Card Business, Chand Das, Expressions has introduced a wide range of Diwali cards catering to all kinds of relationships. "The range is distinctive in quality and has its roots in a deep understanding of the Indian consumers. This understanding has also led us to launch the free courier scheme, which is aimed to make it easy for Expressions consumer to reach out to their loved ones in Diwali," the statement said.
